PROJECT 3:
DESIGNING WITH ARCHITECTURAL PRINCIPLES, MATERIALITY, CONTEXT AND USER

In this Project 3 individual assignment, I am tasked to further explore conceptualization of design principles, spatial qualities, and materiality to construct a series of spaces, in order to accommodate me and my mother’s daily activities and hobbies while integrating them together with my knowledge of the user's sensorial experiences and the context of natural environment of the site. By doing so, we conducted our site analysis in Taman Wawasan Recreational Park, Puchong, for our haven.

Reflection

Throughout this project, I was able to enjoy conducting site analysis with group members to understand more on the context of its surroundings. I also learnt a lot on drawing sectional details and improve my design model progress in every workshop in order to enhance further progress. In conclusion, I hoped I was daring enough to play with interesting spaces, and choices on design and materiality, and apply those to my design for the final outcome.
