PROJECT 2:
ENERGY AUDIT E-REPORT

In this Project 2 individual assignment, we are tasked to create an energy audit profile of our living residences, which it records every profile of our daily energy usage, and the effectiveness of the electronics and devices it holds. This assignment will hep us students to be able to evaluate energy consumption and the implementation of its strategies to reduce energy usage in design, to deliver low energy architectural design.

Reflection

Throughout this project, I found it at first hard and difficult to understand the basic preparation of findings like roof U-value calculation and energy load profile, but later were understandable by consulting with Mr Bruce, Mr Edwin and Ms Siti for further confirmation and instructions. Soon, I was able to record the monthly energy load profile by finding the kWh of electronic appliances and devices in my unit, and calculate the energy consumption pattern. I was also able to identify the issues of energy consumption in my unit and apply some energy saving potentials that may benefit and improve.
