PROJECT 2:
FARNSWORTH HOUSE

In this project, we are tasked to create a model and sketch orthographic drawings based on the Farnsworth House. This project is separated into four parts which are 2A, 2B, 2C and 2D respectively,

• Project 2A requires to create a model at a scale of 1:100 based on a blueprint of the Farnsworth House.

• Project 2B requires to draw a floor plan, a section and two elevations of the Farnsworth House with the blueprint given.

• Project 2C requires to draw an axonometric drawing of the Farnsworth House with orthographic drawings of 2B given.

• Project 2D requires to create both one-point and two-point perspective drawings of the Farnsworth House with orthographic drawings of 2B given.
  
  

Reflection

Throughout this project, I quite enjoyed the model making process of the Farnsworth House as I like assembling model kits with instructions included myself. Not only I learned how to improve my scaling and sketching skills on the orthographic drawings, I also learned how to edit and compile videos that are an hour long into one minute.​​
